The History and Future of Aviation
Your tour starts with our professional Show Me Seattle tour guide picking you up in our comfortable minibus. Once aboard, sit back and relax as we head north, while your guide introduces you to Seattle and the surrounding region, and to William Boeing and his obsession with flight.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center
Within 30-45 minutes we arrive at the Future of Flight Aviation Center. Here you can explore a 28,000-square-foot Aviation Gallery with interactive exhibits and displays.
The Future of Flight features interactive learning zones equipped with touch-screen computers. As you experience the gallery, you learn about the principal features of powered flight as well as the design and technological nuances of various commercial airplanes. You can then digitally design and test your own airliner designs.
The Boeing Factory Tour
From the Future of Flight, you will be escorted on an informative tour of the Boeing plant by a professional Boeing tour guide. This is the only public tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. The tours showcase The Boeing Company and its Everett, Washington product line — the 747, 767, 777, and 787/Dreamliner. On the tour, you will walk through the largest building in the world by volume (472,000,000 cubic feet). You’ll view airplanes in various stages of assembly, manufacture, and flight test for airline customers around the world.
Throughout this guided tour of the Boeing factory, you will marvel at the sheer elegance of it all, and be amazed at how one company gave the world a set of wings!
